What Things Do You Need To Participate In The Stadium Tour 2022?

What Is The Stadium Tour?

The Stadium Tour is a tour of North America that will take place in the summer and fall of 2022. It will be led by the British rock band Def Leppard and the American rock band Motley Crüe. The tour's special guests are Poison and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, and Classless Act is the opening band. This is Motley Crüe's first big tour in seven years, after their last world tour in 2014–2015, and Def Leppard's first in three years, in support of their 12th studio album, Diamond Star Halos.

When does The Stadium Tour take place?

The Stadium Tour was set to happen in the summer of 2020. It was announced on December 4, 2019.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was later said that the tour would be moved to 2021. Because of the same problems, the tour was again moved to 2022. The members of Def Leppard have said that The Stadium Tour will make a stop in Europe in 2023.

Who Is Def Leppard?

Def Leppard is an English rock band that got together in 1977 in Sheffield as part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement. Rick Savage (bass and backing vocals), Joe Elliott (lead vocals), Rick Allen (drums and backing vocals), Phil Collen (guitar and backing vocals), and Vivian Campbell have been in the band since 1992. (guitar, backing vocals). This group has been together the longest.

Between the early 1980s and the early 1990s, the band did best in the marketplace. Robert John "Mutt" Lange produced their album High 'n' Dry in 1981, which helped them start to define their style. The album's best song, "Bringin' On the Heartbreak," was one of the first metal videos to be shown on MTV in 1982. With the lead single "Photograph" from their next studio album, Pyromania, which came out in 1983, Def Leppard became a well-known band. Rolling Stone's list of the 500 best albums of all time put this one at number 384 in 2003.

Hysteria, Def Leppard's fourth album, came out in 1987 and went straight to the top of both the Billboard 200 and UK album charts. As of 2009, it has sold 12 platinum copies in the US and over 20 million copies around the world. The album gave rise to seven singles, including "Love Bites," which was the number one song on the Billboard Hot 100, as well as "Pour Some Sugar on Me," "Hysteria," "Armageddon It," "Animal," "Rocket," and "Women."

Their next studio album, Adrenalize, was the first one they made after guitarist Steve Clark died. It went to number one on the Billboard 200 and UK Album Charts in 1992, and songs like "Let's Get Rocked" and "Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad" were big hits from it. "Two Steps Behind," an acoustic hit from 1993, was on their album Retro Active. "When Love & Hate Collide," a new song from 1995, was on their greatest hits album Vault.

Def Leppard is one of the most popular music groups in the world. They have sold more than 100 million albums.

Who Is Motley Crüe?

Motley Crüe is an American heavy metal band that got together in 1981 in Los Angeles, California. Nikki Sixx, who plays bass, and Tommy Lee, who plays drums, were the first members of the band. Later, lead guitarist Mick Mars and lead singer Vince Neil joined the group. More than 80 million albums have been sold by Motley Crüe all over the world, including 25 million in the U.S. They are one of the best glam metal bands out there.

People have often talked about how hard the band members lived and the image they kept up. All of the members have had many run-ins with the law, been to jail, been alcoholics, been addicted to drugs like cocaine and heroin for a long time, had many affairs with women, and have a lot of tattoos.

The band broke up in 2015, and their last show was on New Year's Eve of that year.

On November 18, 2019, the band confirmed their reunion with a video on their YouTube channel.

What Does The Stadium Tour 2022 Have?

The Stadium Tour took three years to plan and was put off for two years because of COVID-19. It features the biggest names in hard rock from the 1980s. This huge rock circus started in Atlanta on June 16 and will go all over the country until it ends in Las Vegas in September. Poison is the middle act. Classless Act, a band from Los Angeles, starts the six hours of music. Next up are Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Poison, and headliners Motley Crüe and Def Leppard, who switch places at the end of each show.

The Blackhearts and Joan Jett

Jett, who still had a black shag and wore black clothes, cut through singalongs like "I Hate Myself for Loving You," "Bad Reputation," and Tommy James and the Shondells' "Crimson & Clover" in a smooth way. Jett's songs were backed by the powerful Blackhearts, and her manager and producer, Kenny Laguna, was in his usual spot behind the keyboards. Jett sang her songs with a mix of ferocity and cool, with a smile and a sneer. Jett was the only woman on the tour, besides the girls who danced and sang backup for Motley Crue. She ruled her stage with stealth fierceness.

Poison

Is there a rock frontman who is more real than Michaels? Michaels jumped onto the stage's catwalk for the first song, "Look What the Cat Dragged In." He did his side-shimmy move, slapped the shoulders of guitarist C.C. DeVille, whose hair was falling down his back and did aerobic moves to get the crowd involved. Michaels was a great showman. During "Ride the Wind," he got the crowd to clap high in the air, and he often got down on his knees on the wet ramp to shake hands with the fans who were pressed up against the stage.

DeVille took out his Flying V guitar for "Talk Dirty to Me." The song's buzzing riff is typical of Poison's music: simple and fun.

Bret Michaels of the band Poison plays on stage at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia, on June 16, 2022, as part of The Stadium Tour.

As Michaels and DeVille performed at the front of the stage, Rikki Rockett flipped his drumsticks during "Fallen Angel," a fan favorite, and bassist Bobby Dall showed off his role as an anchor during "Unskinny Bop," which had a lot of bass.

Def Leppard

Underneath the lasers and huge video screens, Def Leppard showed off a set list that pulled songs from all over their 40-year career. Singer Joe Elliott, looking like a silver fox in his nice jackets, led the band through "Animal" and "Foolin'" before jumping into "Kick," the most delicious song on the band's new album "Diamond Star Halos."

Bassist Rick Savage, guitarists Vivian Campbell and Phil Collen, whose admirable torso still gets its own spotlight, and drummer Rick Allen, who always wore his trademark Union Jack headphones, added honeyed harmonies to the band's layered songs. Allen also played with unending energy.

"Bringin' on the Heartbreak," a song that still swoons and soars, and "Rocket," a song with a gliding shuffle, were two of Elliott's best songs.

But "Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad," a beautiful ballad that has been played live off-key for years, might be time to be put away. Def Leppard were able to fit in their epic song "Hysteria," which was shown with a video scrapbook of the band's history, including their 2019 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and huge newspaper headlines that showed how long they've been around. Elliott's black bowler hat and red-and-black-striped jacket made him look like Alex from "A Clockwork Orange." Even though he was in charge of the stage, he was still very cool.

The band Motley Crue

The curved steel stage was set up long before Motley Crue could take the stage. This gave fans hope that the band would show up, even though it was raining.

The opening slammer, "Wild Side," was followed by a fake news report. The stage was lit up in red as singer Vince Neil, bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee, and guitarist Mick Mars thundered through the scary hit.

Neil's voice was often drowned out by the band, especially on "Shout at the Devil," which went from a low rumble to a loud roar.
